New Hardware Part 3
Finally my new PC2-8500 Crucial Ballistix 2GB x2 Kit has arrived as well as my Artic Silver 5 paste for the CPU and Heatsink. Now I have the fun task of backing up all my stuff (all 500GB of it) and finishing up my unfinished torrents as I am yet unable to workout how to transfer unfinished ones to another PC.

The purrr of a Boxer!
Hey all,
Before I get to the main subject I recieved my two other 750GB SATA2 WD HDDs. No picture necessary 
Now all I have left is the Artic Silver 5 and my RAM

Shows off the new MY08 Subaru Impreza WRX STI and by god at night time the lights make it look like a demon in waiting and the exhaust note is Boxer magic Also to note the inbuilt SatNav is impressive and has ECU based features might like the R34 GTR (like Temp, RPM, Boost guages etc).

New Hardware Part 2
Back for Part 2
Before you is a OEM copy of Windows Vista Ultimate x64, a Gigabyte P35C-DS3R motherboard, a Western Digital 750GB WD7500AACS enviromentally friendly (apparently) Hard Disk Drive and a Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHZ CPU (of G0 SLACR stepping).
Now all that is left is the 2 other HDDs (order got mucked up, should have them Monday) and my Crucial PC1066 2x2GB kit RAM.
New Hardware Part 1
Hey all,
With Vista looming at work I decided I really need to move up to Microsoft's new Operating System. My current system wouldn't provide the lightning speed I am after on Vista (and secretly with wicked new games on the horizon and already here; Crysis and Bioshock just to name two) I decided it is time to move up.
On order I have:
Intel Q6600 Quad Core CPU
Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme + Scythe 120mm Fan (to keep the Q6600 cool and quiet when I overclock it)
Crucial DDR2 PC1066 2GB Kit (x2 to give me 4GB in total)
Gigabyte P35C-DS3R Motherboard (which allows me to goto DD3 and Intel's new 45nm platform in the near future)
Western Digital 750GB Caviar SE16 HDDs (x3 in RAID5 goodness)
All these parts will be combined with my current hardware:

Antec NEO 550HE Power Supply
Lite-On DVD/CD Reader
Pioneer DVD-RW Burner
XFX 7800GT
Today arrived the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme + Scythe 120mm Fan combo arrived and my first impressive is "holy sweet mother of god this thing is MASSIVE!" I wasn't expecting it to be this large but I can see why it stays so quiet and cool!
I put the chunky pen in the picture to give you a rough idea on how large this thing is!
Anyhoo hopefully my RAM from Extreme PC and my CPU/Mobo/HDDs from a local vendor will me in my hands by tomorrow so I can play with my new toy all weekend

Downpour
Hey folks,
Today we got a absolute drenching, and boy did we need it. We are heading into summer and our water storages (if you believe the news) is up around 39%. Two years ago around the same time it was around 60%.
This lovely amount of rain didn't come without repercussions, the front of our street basically got turned into a ford and the excess water flowed into one of the neighbours doorsteps (not good to come home from holiday too) and a tree came down albiet not blocking the entire street off.

I <3 Jeremy. He reminds me of myself, very sure of his opinion, very right wing...I love it. He also shares me sentiments in regards to cyclists with whom I battle with everyday!
In other unrelated news despite earlier claims I am still Playstation 3less. I got stooged on a ebay sale, getting conflicting stories from a seller in Adelaide and almost tempted to join a group buy of Ceramic White 40gig Japanese PS3s for 440 inc postage. God dammit this world doesn't want me to get one but I say F*** YOU to the world, I will have my Playstation 3.
