Making a difference, the lazy mans way

Hey all, I know I havent contributed to my blog in a while (havent had inspiration as of late) and I promise I'll give you an update of what I have been upto recently but thats for another post. Tonight I want to pass on something I thought was important to pass on to the masses.

Microsoft has partnered with a few charities in order to create the "i’m™ initiative" in which every time a conversation on Windows Live Messenger is started with a hidden emoticon Microsoft donate a portion of the advertisement revenue (from the various Live apps and sites) to various charities including American Red Cross, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Stop Global Warming.org and National AIDS Fund.

So go ahead and click on the banner below and learn how you can join the cause!

(Simple hint, type *care in Windows Live Messenger ;) )

Quickly while I'm here a NZ buddy of mine pointed out on the Section 9 Forums Sony's entry into the world of Organic Light Emitting Diode Screens (OLED screens). How sexilicious. Also the benefits of OLED are awesome too; thinner screens, alot brighter and more vibrant (this particular OLED screen has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio) and suck alot less power. More of a evolution of current LCDs than a revolution but hey progress is progress :D
